We are on the lookout for a UX Designer to ensure the digital services and experiences that we produce meet both user and business goals.

You will join a growing team within CTI and have the opportunity to shape the direction of our user experience offering. At CTI you will have the resources to work collaboratively on interesting, challenging projects - many of which make a real difference to organisations in the public and third sectors.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running. Yet, we also welcome new ideas, tools and ways of working that you may bring.

A UX Designer will:  

  • Collaborate closely with others in the CTI team and directly with clients from across sectors and industries.
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients, for designing and improving their digital user experiences, backing your recommendations with high-quality research.
  • Produce outputs that communicate ideas and research findings effectively to others team members and client stakeholders. 

Our ideal candidate will be:   

  • An excellent communicator, both internally and in client-facing situations.
  • Familiar working with responsive, content-driven websites.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, eager to embrace new challenges and opportunities to learn.
  • Collaborative, with a real willingness to share knowledge.

Other desirable traits include:

  • Experience working with organisations in the public sector, charities and large enterprises.
  • Experience undertaking usability testing in an informal or lab-based environment.
  • Wide-ranging knowledge of digital and how it can be used to meet clients’ business objectives.
  • Ability to use data to inform our recommendations and measure the success of our work.
  • Knowledge of front-end development techniques to enable prototyping with web-based technologies.
  • Experience using any of the following:
    • Adobe XD
    • Sketch
    • InVision
    • Optimal Workshop
