The challenge
As a global retailer, McGraw Hill Education faced challenges in managing multiple eCommerce websites, leading to cumbersome and costly content management and product launches. This fragmentation limited their ability to swiftly respond to market changes.
To remain competitive, McGraw Hill needed a unified retail platform that could reduce total ownership costs by consolidating multiple websites, facilitate easy rollouts into new regions and implement a responsive design for mobile and tablet devices. They also needed to be able to automate existing back office systems and support global scalability.
Addressing these challenges was critical for enhancing operational efficiency and improving market responsiveness.
