We’re delighted to announce that our sales director, Rich Metcalfe, has secured his seat as a representative for the NEW 2024 Umbraco Commerce Community Team.
Rich’s enthusiasm and passion for Umbraco have led to his selection in the team, along with a handful of other diverse individuals, with their first meeting set for late February. Conversations will actively play a role in shaping and advancing commerce initiatives within Umbraco, encompassing both general aspects and specific considerations for Umbraco Commerce.
With the addition of Umbraco Commerce being announced last June, the Umbraco team saw the need for the invaluable insights and knowledge of commerce experts as they began their journey into the world of commerce, paving the way for the new Commerce Community Team.
Rich and the innovative team of creative minds will be tasked with generating ideas and acting as advisors to Umbraco. With responsibilities such as validating new initiatives, offering inventive ideas for improvements, and providing comprehensive feedback for any new commerce initiatives, as well as shaping the overall strategic decisions around the commerce product, the team is set to make a profound impact on the future of Umbraco Commerce over the coming year.
