With the nights drawing in and the temperature dropping, the countdown to Christmas has well and truly begun!

If you haven’t quite finalised your festive email planning, don't panic - we’ve put together a list of our top 5 campaigns that you can set up to help you engage with your customers and drive sales.

Don’t leave it to chance this year – prepare your email campaigns now and make an impact!

1.    Festive Countdown

Everyone loves the build up to the big day, so why not seize the opportunity to implement a series of emails to remind your customers about all of the great offers you have on? Providing regular reminders about your services and special offers will keep your brand front of mind when your customers are making those all important purchase decisions.

2.    Delivery Cut-off Dates

With online shopping, delivery dates are a vital piece of information for shoppers to bear in mind – especially for those who like to leave it to the last minute! Set up a series of emails to ensure that your customers are fully aware of your last delivery dates before Christmas, as well as your shipping costs - meaning your customers won't be disappointed or miss out!

3.    Weather Warning

Have you thought about hijacking the weather in the run up to Christmas? The weather in November and December provides you with plenty of opportunities to promote your product ranges. If there’s a blizzard on the way, get an email campaign prepared to showcase your winter woollies and watch your sales shoot up!

4.    Re-purchase Reminders

Although re-purchase reminders are used for products that are bought on a regular basis, they can still be useful in the run up to Christmas to encourage your customers to place orders to avoid the Christmas rush. Make sure your customers don’t miss out on their favourite products and you don’t miss out on those sales.

5.    Re-engagement

You’ve probably got a lot of contacts on your list that haven’t acted on your emails for a while, so why not take advantage of the festive period to re-engage with them? Pretty much everyone has to buy Christmas presents, so seize the opportunity to reach out to those lapsed customers and point out the benefits of shopping with you!
