Alton Towers Resort began working with CTI Digital in January 2017, initially to work through a backlog of business-critical updates to the website, required for the season
As with any seasonal business, there were challenges to deliver to deadlines for park opening. We improved the website journey for a range of audiences, whether they were looking to book theme park tickets, waterpark tickets, book short breaks or find out information about rides, opening times and events. We also optimised the website for mobile users to allow park attendees to research whilst on the go.
Aman hosts a rich visual experience on their website. Boasting a portfolio of 31 exclusive resorts, hotels, and private residences around the globe, Aman sought a partner with uncompromising attention to detail, capable of creating digital experiences to truly reflect some of the world’s most lavish and luxurious resorts. We expanded the performance of the website to allow image-rich pages to load without delay achieving greater Google Pagespeed Insight scores across the site. We built a Google Map integration, to provide a unique visual approach in representing Aman’s wide range of resorts and helping customers to decide where to visit next. Guests enjoy a consistently high level of service throughout the customer journey, this includes the very outset visit to the Aman website. Therefore, we revised the site’s language capabilities to allow visitors to view the site in English, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic.
Thorpe Park initially engaged CTI to provide support and maintenance for their existing site. Having developed and nurtured a collaborative relationship, Merlin Entertainments wanted a more strategic digital approach, to optimise and introduce new features. We begin in early 2017 with 12 agile sprints of continuously flowing development and planning.
